I strive to express archaic concepts and visionary imagery through the filter of my own human perception in order to bring about a personal experience that is my art. To build virtual reality environments and convey a level of representation that allows objects to be beheld visually, linguistically, and simply experienced.
I craft experiences in Unreal Engine for virtual reality. I use fractal geometries, iconic sculptures and various motifs to evoke a specific emotional response. By collaging several digital sculptures together, I can render elements that are echoed in myths and legends known by many. To formulate these experiences I must step into the shoes of the playwright, sculptor, sound engineer, and programmer. Virtual realities’ strength lies in its ability to embed the audience within the art as a direct experience, rather than gazing upon an artifact.
